Terms of Service

Last updated: June 14, 2026

Welcome to Drift (the “Service”), a web-based RSS reader operated by Drift (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account or otherwise using Drift, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Drift lets you subscribe to RSS and Atom feeds, organize subscriptions, and read, search, and star their entries. Drift periodically fetches content from the third-party feeds you add and displays it to you. Drift is a reading tool only: it does not host, author, or endorse the content delivered through those feeds, and it adds no AI summaries or social features.

2. Accounts

To use Drift you must create an account with a valid email address and a password of at least eight characters. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 13 years old) to use the Service. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account except as we expressly permit.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

4. Third-Party Content and Feeds

Feeds and their entries are published by third parties and remain the property and responsibility of their respective owners. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, legality, or content of any feed. Your use of third-party content may be subject to the terms and copyright of the publisher, and you are responsible for complying with them. References to a feed within Drift are not an endorsement.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the information you supply — such as your list of subscriptions and custom feed titles. You grant us a limited license to store and process that information solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and trademarks — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you no right to our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

7. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that feeds will be fetched on any particular schedule.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account by contacting us at [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or any third-party content will meet your requirements or be free of errors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated by a reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Drift is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
